Phantom of the opera Spider pied/Piebald Ball Python. The Spider Pied was first produced by Steve Roussis, it looked like a snake with a Spider head pattern and a 98% Piebald body. Roussis Reptiles successfully hybridized the Ball Python and the Blood Python species, forming the “Superball” and its various derivatives while exploring new territory in designer snake genetics and opening the doors to a world of new genetic morph and mutation possibilities.
